Todd Pounds

Pastor

Todd serves as Pastor for Church in the Country Rayburn. He is happily married to Chyrl and they recently celebrated forty years of wedded bliss. They have two children, Elizabeth and Zach, and eight grandchildren. Elizabeth and her husband Adam reside in Conroe, Texas and have three sons; Rylan, Logan, and Paxton. Zach and his wife Rebekah reside in Lumberton, Texas and have five children; Marae, Caedence, Payzleigh, Carter, and Crue. Todd received his ministry license in 1996 and was ordained in 2007.
He was called to full time ministry in 2005. He served as youth pastor at FBC Woodville from 2005 to 2019. In 2019 he felt led to take part in establishing Church in the Country Rayburn at Lake Sam Rayburn as a satellite campus of Church in the Country, located in Woodville Texas.
In May 2024 Church in the Country Rayburn became an autonomous church with Todd serving as pastor. He is passionate about serving God’s church and believes all things related to His church … salvations, baptisms, discipleship, spiritual and numerical growth will take place in God’s time. Todd and Chyrl spend a lot of their time attending sports events and supporting their grandchildren, whatever their endeavors. Todd enjoys reading, working out, and saltwater fishing.

Nick Hilderbrand

Worship Pastor

My name is Nick Hilderbrand, and I have been the main Worship Leader at CITC Rayburn since its beginning in 2019. I have been in full-time ministry since 2009, serving in several churches and holding many roles during that time. I was born and raised in Jasper, Texas, where I currently reside with my wife, Camie, and our three boys: Hayden, Jacob, and Clayton.
Music has been a part of my life in some form or fashion for as long as I can remember. My grandmother played piano for her father, who was a traveling preacher, and continued playing for her little country church from the time she was 13 until the day God brought her home. Additionally, my uncle, deeply rooted in the Southern Gospel Music industry, influenced me greatly. He gave me my first guitar, taught me my first lessons, and inspired my love for music. It is only by the grace and love of God that I am able to serve in this capacity today, and I have no doubt about that! I believe God gave us music as a means to worship Him, and I strive to ensure that we, as a church and as a family, do what is pleasing to Him through our worship.

Cody Rhame

Youth Minister

I have been serving in youth ministry since 2014 and am privileged to have served alongside my wife, Summer, for all of those years. Summer and I got married in 2012, and we have four children: Blayden, Sierra, Makayla, and Nathan. God has been so good to our family, and He continues to bless us.
In March of 2024, we came to Church in the Country, Rayburn. We knew that this is exactly where God wants us to be. One thing that is clear throughout the Bible is that there is no better place to be than in the center of God's will. Even though trials will come, we know that if God is for us, nothing can stand against us. We are excited about the future God has for us here.
My calling has always been with students. I love working with teenagers! God has given me a desire to see Christ working in teens' lives and for them to understand that we are all real people with real issues for real change. I strive to equip and encourage them along their life’s journey.

Heather Nolen

Children's Minister

God called me to lead the children’s ministry in September 2021 and I have loved every minute of it! My mission is to teach children about God's love and what Jesus did for us all so that they can accept Christ and go out into the world and spread that love. My husband, Shane Nolen, and I have four children and we love to spend time outside. Swimming, fishing, kayaking and when it gets cold we love to sit around a fire and roast marshmallows!
